Dr. Diran Fawibe

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Fawibe is an astute and highly visionary Chief Executive Officer. He holds a PHD in Petroleum Process Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He was awarded Doctor of Science in Petroleum Economics (Honoris Causa) by Marquis G. S. International University Foundation (1990) and was also cited in Marquis’ Who’s Who in the World 1997.He was also recently been awarded a lifetime achievement award by PETAN (2015) and cited in the 2nd edition of The Who’s Who in Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry published by OGP. His work experience spans organizations and institutions like Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), University of Ibadan, Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

At NNPC, Dr. Fawibe was the General Marketing Manager responsible for marketing Nigerian crude oils in the world market, from where he moved to become the Head of Research and Planning in the Petroleum Inspectorate. He represented Nigeria between 1973 and 1984 at OPEC expert meetings (Economic Commission Board, Working Parties and Steering Committees for OPEC Studies) and Ministerial Conferences. He is actively involved in promoting co-operation and understanding between the public and private sectors, banking and finance industry, as well as the industrial sector, through Seminars, Workshops and Conferences. He is the author of a number of publications on the Annual Energy Forum, which he has been sponsoring since 1993 for policy makers and industry players. The professional standing and international outlook of Dr. Fawibe is illustrated by the recognition accorded him by the following international organizations and professional bodies.

Mr. Adeleke Odutola

Company Coordinator

Adeleke holds a Masters degree in International Business Management from the American Graduate school of International Management (Thunderbird) Glendale Arizona and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics Geology from the University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas USA. Before joining International Energy Services Limited, he worked as an Investment Executive at the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) where he was responsible for local raw materials development for industrial production in Nigeria. He also worked at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) where he served in the Economic Research and Intelligence Department ERID for policy development and the planning and management sections of the DPR.

Adeleke joined Globestar Nigeria Limited / Stolt Offshore Company where he was involved in various projects which include the Offshore Gas Gathering System (OGGS); A major Gas pipeline that collects Gas from Tunu, EA, and Bonga fields for delivery to the Nigerian LNG in Bonny. He served as the CASHES Manager for Globestar, He also served as project coordinator for establishment of Logistic support base in Lagos and Ogun from inception of land clearing to dredging, and land reclamation to construction of quay walls, warehouses and various utility facilities construction. He was again involved in the Forcados Yokri Integrated project of SPDC upgrading the production platforms and storage facilities as CASHES Manager.

Over the past fifteen years, he has been involved in the private sector. Mostly in the CASHES. At American Oilfield Divers (AOD) he started with the community engagement and later in Health Environment and Security activities. He has a wide range of experience in Asset management and evaluation, Business Management, Management appreciation and production scheduling.

 

Engr. Sunday Ayeni

GM, Global Business Joint Ventures

Sunday is currently the Divisional Manager of the Global Business & Joint Ventures Division. Sunday started his career with Petmam Ventures Limited as a Technical Services Engineer and has over 18 years post-graduation work experience. Prior to joining IESL, He was an Operations/Contract Sales Manager at Westfield Energy Resources Limited, A Project Manager of Brentford Engineering & Construction Company Limited a member of Mikada Group of Companies, Head of Department (HOD)/Project Engineer at William Lloyd Technical Company Limited.

He holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Project Management. He is a COREN registered Engineer, member of NSE and Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

 

Adebayo Ige

GM, Engineering and Construction Services

Bayo Ige is responsible for the day to day running of IESL Engineering group in Nigeria. He is a registered professional Engineer with significant experience in engineering design, process scheme selection, long-range field development planning, project management, construction and commissioning of oil and gas facilities. His facilities design experience cuts across conventional plays (Onshore and Offshore) and unconventional plays (Shale and Oil Sands). With 20-year industry experience he has worked on various size projects ranging from <$1M to $4.2 Billion and has written and presented technical papers to industry leaders.

Prior to joining IESL Bayo worked as a Project Manager – Major capital projects at Enerplus, an Exploration and Production Company based in Canada, where he directly managed several projects running into hundreds of millions of dollars over a four year period.

Before joining Enerplus, Bayo worked in the role of a Construction Manager for NalcoChampion, a US based chemical company, where he managed the construction, from start to finish, of a new $54M Chemical Plant located in Leduc, Alberta. He also supervised the commissioning and smooth start-up of the new plant.

Earlier in his career Bayo worked at various times for British Petroleum (BP) in Canada as a Project Engineer and Technip USA in Houston as a Process Engineer where he participated on the Thunder Horse PDQ project – the biggest offshore production and drilling platform located in the Gulf of Mexico, at the cost of $4.2 Billion. As a young engineer he gained valuable field experience working at Hadis-Con Nig. Ltd, a Civil Engineering company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Bayo holds the following qualifications:

  • Sc. Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston –Texas

Mr. Kevin Nwanze

Head, Consulting & Technical Studies

Kevin is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a COREN-registered Engineer. He is a also a fellow of both the Institute of Management Consultants and the Institute of Credit Administrators.

With over 19 years of work experience spanning several sectors of the Nigerian economy, he has consulted for and provided project development and management services to several industry players, particularly in the areas of research and energy (oil, gas and power) business start-up and expansion strategies, including developing workable models and solutions for business growth and development.

Kevin is Manager, Project Development & Consultancy Services at International Energy Services Limited (IESL). Before joining the employ of IESL, he had worked for the following organisations, amongst others, as: Head of Energy Research at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG); Acting Director of Research and Advocacy at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria; and Key Accounts Manager at Amazon Energy Limited.

He holds an MBA in Project Management, obtained from the Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Energy and Petroleum Economics from Delta State University, Abraka, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin. He is also a recipient of several awards, including an Honourary Doctorate Degree (Doctor of Science) in Energy Sector Management and Economic Development from the European-American University, Roseau, Commonwealth of Dominica.

 

Okechi Nwoke

GM, Oil Field Supply & Services

Okechi is a Project Manager with extensive Oil & Gas experience over a vast range of projects.
He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Architecture, certificate in the design and fabrication of offshore living quarters and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Atlanta Chapter, USA. He has also participated in various workshops/seminars on HAZARD/ Risk Analysis, Operations Assurance and Operations Excellence and Value Improvement Processes.

Okechi has participated and managed several major onshore and offshore projects within the Oil & Gas industry and has held key positions in several multi-million dollar projects.

 

Engr. Babajide Adeniran Ojuola

Director/TA to the CEO

Engr Babajide Ojuola is a seasoned Engineering Management professional with several years of experience in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sector of the Energy sector. He has participated in several multi-million dollar projects, both in technical and managerial capacities, for multinational and indigenous oil companies across Africa. His hands-on experience cuts across Conceptual Studies, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering Design, Construction Management, Procurement, Asset Management, Project Management, and Quality Management.

Babajide holds a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management (Distinction) from University of South Wales, United Kingdom. As a lifelong learner, Engr. Babajide is currently undergoing a Doctorate Degree program at Walden University USA, focused on how to improve the quality of engineering services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. He has authored several unpublished papers on engineering quality management, knowledge management, and project management. Engr. Babajide is a COREN registered engineer, a member of the prestigious Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) UK, member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), member of Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), and a ASQ certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
